Nadir

Conceptually, the nadir is the point opposite the zenith.

 

Net load coefficient (NLC)

Defined as the total load coefficient (TLC) minus the load coefficient for the solar wall.

Net reference load (Qnet)

Defined as the building load, exclusive of losses through the solar wall, over a period of time. The net reference load is the product of the net load coefficient (NLC) and the relevant number of degree-days (DD).
