E-mail Accounts
Faculty and staff can apply for a Lotus Notes
e-mail account. Features include calendaring, instant messaging, and web
access. For more information about Lotus Notes, contact the Computing Resource
Center at x50777. For those who prefer a POP3 account, Rebelmail
accounts are available.
Teaching and Learning Center
The Teaching and Learning Center offers assistance to UNLV faculty, teaching assistants, and staff who provide or administer direct instruction. Please visit the TLC website for details.
WebCampus
WebCampus is a software application that
allows faculty to develop web courses or materials without knowing how to
program in HTML. It offers online quizzes, student tracking, interactive
discussion threads, realtime chat, and more.
Web Classes
The Division of Educational Outreach offers a series of courses on webpage development. From coding with HTML to using web applications such as Dreamweaver to creating images with Photoshop, courses are available for students of all skill levels.
CSS Validation Service
This checker validates the code for your cascading stylesheets.
Cynthia Says
The Cynthia Says portal is a web content accessibility validation
solution designed to identify errors in your content related to
Section 508 standards and/or the WCAG guidelines.
HTML Validation Services
This validator checks web documents in formats like HTML and XHTML for conformance
to W3C recommendations and other standards.

Review the World Wide Web Consortium's guidelines for making web content
accessible to people with disabilities.
Total Validator
Total Validator is a free one-stop, all-in-one validator that checks HTML, accessibility, spelling, and links. Includes the ability to take screenshots with different browsers to see what your web pages really look like.
Analog
To help track web traffic and search-engine inquiries made by visitors to the UNLV web server, we've installed a log file analysis program called Analog. To view the reports generated by Analog, visit our Web Server Stats Page and click on the month/year that interests you. For information on interpreting the various reports, refer to Analog's online documentation.
